Kate E. Vaillancourt, PsyD, P-MHC
I received my Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University New England in 2012 after completing a predoctoral internship in clinical psychology at the Carson Center for Adults and Families in Westfield, MA, where I received intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and recovery from substance use and addictions.
My clinical training experience has also included an externship with Harvard Medical School at the Shattuck Hospital in Jamaica Plain, inpatient crisis counseling and intervention at NH Hospital, and psychological and neuropsychological testing and evaluation with children, adolescents, and adults at The Counseling Center of Nashua.
I am excited about learning and continually look for new ways to assist and support the people with whom I work. Some of my most recent training and volunteer experiences include:
Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) by Postpartum Support International (PSI)
Level 2 Complicated Grief Informed Clinician with specialized training though Columbia University, Columbia School of Social Work.
Mental Health Professional Certificate Course through the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM)
Current NH State Volunteer Support Coordinator and board liaison for PSI.
I am a proud member of the following professional organizations:
American Psychological Association (APA)
New Hampshire Psychological Association (NHPA)
